The Novosibirsk Cultural Menu
We are proud to welcome you to one of the most dynamic cities in the world! In just a century, Novosibirsk, located in the heart of Eurasia, has transformed into a modern metropolis, where the strength of industrial giants is backed by the world-famous scientific centre Akademgorodok, and cultural activity has grown to rival Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Novosibirsk is a city of record holders. Take a picture of the world’s longest metro bridge and stroll along the world’s longest straight street (Red Avenue). Here one can find Russia’s largest theatre and the zoo, and this stop on the Trans-Siberian railway has made the city’s railway hub the largest in this vast country. Once Novosibirsk was the centre of the Russian Empire, and today it is still open to guests, imperially welcoming guests from all around the world.
The Domina Novosibirsk is located in the heart of the city, so getting to know it is easy – you can start directly at hotel’s reception. Competent and with a deep knowledge of their native city, all our concierges are happy to share everything with you.
Make a Wish for the Future
As you exit the hotel, standing on the opposite side of Lenin Street, note the small sculpture for “The Decision-Making Spot”. Be sure to make a wish here. If think you make your own luck, just think about your plans here. They say this place makes many things come true.
Plunge into the Past
The hotel’s closest neighbor is the Red Torch Theatre. The majestic building, which was fashioned in the classical tradition and can be enjoyed from the restaurant and bar, was built in 1914 for the Merchants Assembly. To this day, it remains a source of pride and a place of rest for many citizens.
Str. Lenin, 19
Walking from the hotel towards Lenin Square, pay attention to the historic Novonikolayevsk girls’ school to the right. Here many generations of Siberians from wealthy families studied.
Str. Lenin, 11
At the intersection of Lenin Street and Soviet Street is a house with an unusual shape – a true piece of wooden Art Nouveau in the centre of Novosibirsk, which often catches the gaze of lovers of authentic architecture.
Str. Ordzhonikidze, 5
Relax and Have Fun
Many say Lenin Street is the Novosibirsk version of Broadway – here you can find shops, bars, clubs, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes.
Also, there is the “Victory” cinema, the architecture of which offers a great level of familiarity with the style of Stalin’s empire.
In Novosibirsk, “Victory” is considered one of the best film theatres and tracks the trends of world cinema. There are constantly festivals featuring German, French, Italian, Korean, Japanese, and Israeli cinema. Exclusive art-house shows and “Short Film” premieres with the stars, online broadcasts of opera and ballet productions from the major theatres in the world. Our concierge is always knowledgeable about the current program.

Touch High Art
The symbol and pride of the city is Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
The biggest Russian theatre building (and the second largest in the world) is located in the town square, and it is rightly called “the Siberian Colosseum”.
For some time, this collective theatre and its repertoire have established themselves as reason enough for a visit to Novosibirsk.
World stars consider it an honor to speak here, although it is not easy: the local audience has a passion for artists but does not hold back criticism.
Be One with Nature
If the weather is good for walking, keep on the path to the right of Lenin Square on Soviet Street. Pervomaisky Square is a great place for strolls with interesting landscaped areas, sculptures, and fountains. Even if you are on a short trip, plan at least half a day to explore the zoo, unique in its size and diversity of species. This is the easiest and most vivid way to experience the beauty of Siberian nature, and fall in love with her forever.
Akademgorodok is more than just a world-renowned research centre. Here you can enjoy elements of the beautiful Siberian nature and fresh forest air, as well as visit the Botanical Garden, several beaches, and recreation areas in the Novosibirsk reservoir.
In contrast to the reserved nature of the present, greet the future at the new campus and the futuristic Technopark at Novosibirsk State University.
Take It All In
In Novosibirsk, even on children’s playgrounds, entertainment goes hand in hand with knowledge. That is why both children and adults are never bored. Visit a planetarium, the “Galileo” scientific amusement park, the circus, or the nearby Puppet Theatre. The most vivid of impressions are guaranteed to all ages!
There’s never a chance to get bored in Novosibirsk, so feel free to take a break from business and feel the rhythm of the city.
Our concierges keep their hands on the pulse of Novosibirsk, and they will provide guests with a professional mosaic of vibrant experiences.
Be pleasantly surprised how generously the capital of Siberia will welcome you with its warm hospitality.
